On 12 July 2022, we retired our Referral program that saw so many of our #HugoHeroes earn $20 Goldback® on sign-up and additional $10 Goldback® for every contact they referred. It was really popular and many started investing in physical gold!
But not every ending is sad; the end of the Referral program is the beginning of something even greater. We are supercharging our rewards so you can get to win more Goldback® by completing FIVE simple in-app Quests that are designed to be exciting and rewarding as you keep yourself financially fit along your personal Wealthcare® journey.
How to access the Hugosave Rewards Centre
The Quests, descriptions and your progress can be accessed via the Rewards Centre found in the Home screen. Simply tap on the button to see all your Quests, Goldback® won, rewards available (more on that below) and your unique referral link in one place.
How to complete Quests on Hugosave
Quests serve as exciting checkpoints along your Wealthcare® journey. Don’t worry, they are easy and progressive so that everyone can win Goldback® and stay on track to becoming a prolific saver. Each Quest card will inform you on what you need to do to complete it in a step-by-step manner.
The 5 Quests are:
- Open a free Hugosave Lite Account
- Progress to Hugosave Plus+ Account
- Order and activate your Hugosave Debit Card (takes ~5 working days by mail)
- Add money and make a single gold purchase of at least S$50 in a go
- Use your Hugosave Debit Card for your spending for 14 consecutive days
How to win Hugosave rewards
Every time you complete a Quest, you will be entitled to a spin of the rewards wheel. All Goldback® will be credited to your Gold Vault instantaneously. You will be able to see the total amount of Goldback® you have won over time at the top of the screen.
Each Quest comes with 1 of 3 types of wheels available, namely Classic, Super and Mega, each with individual ranges of Goldback® value:
- Classic wheel—ranging from $1 to $8
- Super wheel —ranging from $1 to $16
- Mega wheel—ranging from $2 to $40
Are referral rewards still available?
Of course! Anyone who gets their family and friends start taking better care of their money should be rewarded. And the great news is, we have increased the value of our referral rewards. Instead of $10, now you get to win up to $16!
Also, we’ve improved the process to be even simpler for you and your friend to win rewards! Get more friends and win unlimited referral rewards!

How to get on board the new Hugosave Rewards Program
EVERYONE IS ELIGIBLE. All new #HugoHeroes who sign up from 25 July 2022 will be automatically enrolled into the program.
#HugoHeroes who signed up before 4 July 2022
If you had signed up to Hugosave between 4 May 2022 and 25 July 2022, you will be offered an option to either stay in the old rewards program to finish it or move over to the new program. You will NOT lose progress if you opt in to the new rewards program, and even have chances to win more Goldback®!
If you had signed up before 4 May 2022, since your existing rewards would have been fully fulfilled or expired, you will be automatically enrolled into the new rewards program. The old program’s mechanics would have fulfilled 3 out of the 5 Quests, so you will be eligible for a bonus 2 Quests. 2 more Goldback® chances!
